I have a rich background of working with diverse individuals. As a former teacher and school counselor I have had the privilege of working with people from many different socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, nationalities, learning styles, genders, sexual orientations, religions, cultures and sub-cultures. While working in high schools I found that boy’s emotional experiences were often ignored and they needed a safe space to process and share.

I’ve lived in three other countries including UAE, Italy and Jerusalem. I have lived in several cities though out the United States including; Sherman, TX, Dallas, TX, and San Francisco, CA.

Originally from San Antonio, I grew up in the 1980’s on the westside of town. In the old Jewish neighborhood we were surrounded by older Jewish refugees from world war 2 and younger Latino families. My father was German-Jewish and my mother is Mexican- American (2nd gen) Catholic. I was raised with both religions and cultures.
